Drape the upper body
Lay the torso over the trunk edge so it settles into the seam. Its own weight holds it there.

The upper body sits in the gap between the trunk lid and the bumper and stays put at normal driving speeds. Take it off before highway driving (70+ mph) or in strong wind. For parking lots, neighbourhoods and city streets it holds. Most people set it up once they arrive, for the best reactions.

It is made to fit most sedans, coupes, hatchbacks and SUVs. If your car has a trunk lid and a rear bumper, it fits. The legs hang free, so bumper shape does not matter.
Each figure is about 4 feet from top to bottom and weighs around 4–5 lb depending on the character. Big enough to read as a full figure from across the lot, light enough to set up on your own.
